O&K, Inc. USA Enters Exclusive
Dealership with MD Hydraulics

ATLANTA, CA--MD Hydraulics of Monrovia, CA, is now the sole distributor of O&K Orenstein & Koppel, Inc. Hydraulic Excavators in California. MVP Hydraulics & Equipment, a division of MD Hydraulics, will handle the dealership.

"We're excited about this agreement. It is a win-win situation for both companies," declared Rick Brown, Director of Marketing for MD Hydraulics. "We have been in the business of rebuilding this type of equipment for 17 years and it is the next natural step to be able to sell what we service."

The decision followed a meeting between representatives of the two companies at the California Mining Association Show. The partnership is ideal for both companies because MD Hydraulics is already established with the mines and large construction sites in California. "With O&K's expertise in the mining industry and our established relationships with the mines, this is a true fit," Brown said.

O&K offers the widest range of mining excavators in both front shovel and backhoe configurations in the U.S., maintaining its North American headquarters in Atlanta. These excavators range from 170,000 pounds operating weight/six cubic yards bucket size to 1,760,000 pounds operating weight/sixty cubic yards bucket size.
